Does CODE Marketing cloud use first-party cookies or third-party cookies?

CODE Marketing cloud uses first-party cookies, but third-party cookies are used when cross domain settings are enabled.

When third-party cookies are used, it may be difficult to track users who have enabled Safari ITP (Intelligent Tracking Prevention). This can affect report values such as showing a number of sessions that is higher than the actual value.
