js library
js library is a JavaScript library which recognizes visitors to a website and provides web customer service. This guide explains how to use js on websites.
How to use js
Adding JavaScript tag snippets to the HTML of each site page makes it possible to use the js library.
Types of tag snippets that can be added
Tag snippets that can be added are separated into the following two categories.
1. Measurement tags which are pasted on all pages
This type of tag snippet is pasted on all site pages. Available tags include those for test environments and those for production environments to suit your uses. For further details, see Placing measurement tags.
CODE Marketing cloud offers customizable tags that can be added for the information and customer service information you want to measure. Adding customized tags in addition to common measurement tags to any page makes it possible to call the specific method within the js library.
Adding customized tags makes the following possible.
- Use in targeting
- Customer service through the use of dynamic creative templates
- More detailed result report measurement
By handing over information obtained from the site to the js library, customized tags can be used for a variety of different purposes.
- If there is a problem with the data set as parameters in customizable tags, js library operation is not guaranteed.
- Note that we cannot be responsible for any unintended effects that may occur on the site in such circumstances.
Make sure to verify settings explained in the scope of this start guide before beginning use of customized tags.
